A Kansas resident has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for charges related to child sexual abuse materials. Chloe Wade Gullotto, 25, from Leavenworth, admitted guilt to one count of production of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography.

Court documents reveal that between September 2023 and November 2023, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received several CyberTips about images and videos linked to a cloud account owned by Gullotto. During an interview with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Gullotto confessed to using a cellphone for downloading and creating child sexual abuse material images.

The FBI conducted the investigation into this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Audrey McCormick was responsible for prosecuting the case.

This legal action is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice. The project aims to combat the growing issue of child sexual exploitation and abuse. It is led by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and CEOS, coordinating federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children online while also identifying and rescuing victims.
